Welcome to Daydream (“we,” “our,” “us”). Your privacy is important. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights. By using the Daydream mobile app or website you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. What We Collect

Prompt Text & Canvas Data (Required) — the words and images you input to generate or edit vision-board content.
Device & Log Info (Automatic) — IP address, device type, OS version, crash reports, and basic analytics events.
Optional Account Data — email, name, and avatar if you create a Daydream Cloud account or join our beta program.

3. How We Use Your Data

Generate AI images and save your boards across sessions or devices.
Improve model performance and in-app recommendations (aggregate & anonymized).
Send service-related notices, e.g., password resets and critical updates.
Abuse prevention and fraud detection.

4. Data Storage & Security

Prompt text and generated images are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.3) and at rest on servers located in the EU. We never share raw prompts with third-party advertisers or data brokers. Access is restricted by role-based controls and monitored 24/7.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We only share limited information:

With cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS) under strict data-processing agreements.
With analytics partners like Plausible (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).
If required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of users.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Send requests to privacy@daydream.app. We respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We keep account data until you delete your account or for up to 24 months after your last activity. Detached prompts and generated images are auto-purged after 90 days if you use the app without an account.

8. Children

Daydream is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us for immediate removal.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
